What is LabVelocity?

LabVelocity's mission is to improve the exchange of product data and related information between manufacturers and distributors of research products, and scientists. For scientists, we offer the LabVelocity public Web site, an indispensable daily resource for increasing productivity. The public Web site combines advanced attribute-based product search capabilities and comparison functions, scientific protocols, reference materials, and conversion calculators, in a user-friendly Web-based resource. Additionally, the public Web site offers customizable automated literature search agents, and scientific news services that enable scientists to keep abreast of the always-advancing research world.

For suppliers, we offer our Data and Content Management System (DCMS): a comprehensive integrated product and information management system, designed specifically for suppliers of research products and their customers. Based on the technology that powers LabVelocity, the DCMS provides manufacturers and distributors with a single Web-based repository for product data and related content and collateral, as well as online tools to manage all relevant information. DCMS data is optimized to support advanced attribute-based searching and association capabilities, and can be published in a variety of formats. The data and information can be used to enhance an existing Web site; for online catalogs; for information exchange between Sales, R&D, and Marketing departments; and for integration with ERP and procurement systems.
